Royal Feasting News

Greetings! Welcome to the new Web site for The King's Feast™. There have been many changes at the Texas Renaissance Festival since last season. The TRF has new management team under Terre Albert and it looks like a new exciting era for the festival. Terre and his team have been hard at work to make this the best year ever for our patrons. I will update this page with breaking news, scuttlebutt and faire happenings on June 1st.

We have dedicated this year's feast as "Feast of the New Era", and with that you will see a new feast show under the direction of Travis Bryant with some returning characters and some new ones. We have added new equipment in the kitchen and hired two apprentices for pâtissier (dessert) and rôtisseur (roast & grilled meats) to get back to our roots.

Prices will remain unchanged for the Feast for the year. On September 1st 2011 a processing fee will be added for $5.00 per order for credit card orders to offset the credit card fees that have become ridiculous. This is being done to keep the price at $85 for the Feast and $40 for the Wine Tasting. I will waive this fee until September 1st to give our regular feasters time to get their orders in. There will not be a fee for customers who are adding services to their existing order.

New Recipe Page: I have been energized to go back into the kitchen and get the recipes out to the public and you should see this as a King's Recipes page soon. It has all been transcribed and is currently being annotated for the newspaper and magazine articles as some of the recipe that have appeared in print. A book is in the works for the MP at the festival with my 30 years of research and 4 generations of the Prince Family in the hospitality industry.

Until June 1st, Oggy Oggy Oggy! Oi! Oi! Oi!
